Wakefield UU: The Music Church! We are know by many in the immediate and surrounding community as "The Music Church." Now, many UU congregations have spectacular music programs, but not every UU church has a widely popular, nationally known coffeehouse (Linden Tree Coffeehouse) in its 25th year, a master level concert pianist (Alla Vishnevetsky) who plays each Sunday, a dedicated and talented choir, albeit modestly sized, and fabulous acoustics, both upstairs in the Sanctuary and downstairs in our Social Hall. We invite and encourage musicians of all genres to consider us as a venue for your musical event. Check our Public Events page for more events, musical and otherwise, including Rise Up Singing! Coming Up Transit - Friday October 2, 2009 in the downstairs Social Hall. Click HERE for more info. Tansit is a young band from Stoneham MA and they will be joined by Wakefield's favorites Calling Aviv and others. Two Linden Tree Coffeehouse shows this month!
